Home Staging Tips: Keep the Buyer in Mind

On my way home from the West Coast, I started thinking about home staging tips, and how every person on the plane has a need that needs to be satisfied in order to fly comfortably. I’ve realized that our struggles, challenges and triumphs actually affects the lifestyle we lead and how our homes are showcased. When I became a home stager back in 2009, I knew I could decorate, tell stories through images and create warm, inviting spaces but, my story defined me as I walked down the stairs to my living room and found 10 years of my life destroyed and waterlogged throughout the entire first floor of my home that surreal October morning in 2012. Superstorm Sandy uprooted our life, our lifestyle for nearly six months. I knew I wanted to stay though…. build better, stronger and smarter. But where do you start when your life has been turned upside down in a […]
