I believe in the power of home staging because I’ve seen it work first hand. This means m<\/span>ost home buyers purchase first with their emotions and then justify the purchase with their wallets.\u00a0So a buyer’s\u00a0experiences create preferences over the options they have which leads to the purchase if potentially YOUR home.<\/span><\/p>\n 81% of buyers say it’s easier to visualize the property as a future home, 46% are more willing to walk through a home viewed online, 45% say home staging positively impacts the home’s value if decorated to a buyer’s taste and 28% of buyers will overlook a home’s faults.<\/span><\/p>\n While this infographic quotes a National Association of Realtors<\/a><\/span> statistic that the median cost of home staging is $675, the Real Estate Staging Association conducted their own independent report and discovered this cost was low. The RESA report<\/a><\/span>\u00a0helps answer the questions, \u201cWhat are the staging fees for staging services in my area?\u201d and \u201cWhat is an estimate to stage my vacant home?\u201d. \u00a0The report includes pricing for staging services including: \u00a0the cost of a written consultation, the price of a walk and talk consultation and staging fees for both an occupied home and a vacant home.
