Tori Toth’s 2019 Spring Home Goals

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting cabin fever here in New York City, you know when you feel you’re just a few weeks away from full blooms, warmer weather and sandals, but the temperature outside is only flirting with 40 degrees. (Ahhhhh!) So, whenever I feel like this — I like to pull out my home planner to brainstorm my spring home goals and projects to conquer before the summer fun starts. Over the weekend Sal and I sat down to prioritize which projects to research, plan, and actually complete. How to Get Your Kids To Do Chores At Every Age

Keeping a property tidy is hard enough, let alone when you have one or more children living with you. (Maybe that’s why I stick to fur babies!) Picking up spills, clothes and toys becomes a never-ending chore, that’s found to be an irresponsible practice when paired with shielding children from chores. Do you believe kids should do chores? Or should they just be kids? One of my favorite chores to do as a kid was dusting and vacuuming the house. My Mom always believed in giving us weekly chores to help not only, teach us responsibility, but show us how to care for “the items” we own.
